4^th Grade Math:

We will be covering a wide range of math standards this year including multiplication, division, geometry and principles of algebra.  Please continue to practice math facts at home with your child on a daily basis.  Continue to look for homework at least 3 nights per week.  The Family Letter is an excellent resource to use for help with homework!

 

4^th Grade ELA:

Students are grouped according to BAS assessments, so that they receive individualized reading instruction at their level each day.  They will also participate in a 20 minute whole group mini-lesson to teach/introduce/review standards/skills.  Students will also be working on grammar, spelling, and writing skills during their ELA block as well.  Please read daily with your child to model fluency, accuracy, and increase understanding.
