Mr. Blackie

Hi fourth graders and families! My name is Mr. Blackie, and I am your writing teacher this year. I am a recent PSU grad and a first-year teacher. I have worked with children throughout my career, starting in high school. From day cares, summer camps, and after-school programs, I have seen it all. This year, my goal is to build your students' writing skills, and I look forward to the creative stories they will bring to life. Growing up in Altoona, working at Penn-Lincoln has been a full-circle moment. I take pride in our communities and building our future with bright minds and hard working students.
